Darrell Lance Abbott, better known as "Dimebag" Darrell, was a legendary heavy metal guitarist and a founding member of the influential band Pantera. On December 8, 2004, Abbott, aged 38, was performing with his new band Damageplan at the Alrosa Villa nightclub in Columbus, Ohio.
