In the early morning hours of September 22, 2022, Everett Beauregard, a 23-year-old White male, was walking home alone in Philadelphia after a night out with friends. A recent graduate of Temple University, he had his whole life ahead of him, with plans to pursue an MBA. As he made his way along the 400 block of North 35th Street, just a block from his apartment, his life was cut tragically short in a seemingly random and unprovoked act of violence.
