On September 11, 2022, 17-year-old Teryn Johnson, a young girl from Philadelphia, PA, was tragically shot and killed while walking with a friend and a small dog in the Frankford neighborhood. Teryn, who was nine weeks pregnant at the time, was struck multiple times by gunfire from a gray Dodge Challenger that had been following them. Despite being rushed to Temple University Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
The investigation into Teryn's death led to the arrest of three suspects.
