Shawn L. Grant Jr., a 16-year-old Black male from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life on July 11, 2022. Shawn was shot on the 2800 block of West Diamond Street around 11:30 p.m. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they found Shawn lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite their efforts to rush him to Temple University Hospital, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
