In the late afternoon of July 6, 2022, on the 5000 block of Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia, gunshots shattered the day, leaving two men critically wounded. One of these men was 29-year-old Nafee Hardy-Childs, a Black male from East Clapier Street. Philadelphia Police officers who responded to the scene at 2:46 p.m. found Mr. Hardy-Childs and the other victim, 28-year-old Daquan Tucker, suffering from gunshot wounds.
