Sameer Abdullah, a 37-year-old male, was killed on December 17, 2021, while working at the Empire Smoke and Phone Store at 1418 Chester Pike in Crum Lynne, Ridley Township, Pennsylvania. That Friday afternoon, the ordinary rhythm of the store was shattered when a gunman opened fire inside the business. Police said Abdullah was behind the counter when he was shot multiple times in the upper body at close range with a revolver.
