In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Southwest Philadelphia, the life of 29-year-old LaVaughn Culbreath was tragically cut short. On November 23, 2021, at approximately 10:30 p.m., police officers on patrol were flagged down in the 6200 block of Woodland Avenue. There, they discovered Culbreath on the sidewalk, unresponsive and bleeding from a gunshot wound to his head.
