Jamie Bey, 27, an African American woman from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, died on October 25, 2021, after a birthday gathering at Al's Café turned into a sudden scene of panic and gunfire. She had been at the bar with family when a fight broke out between two men who were also inside the business. Reports described Bey as an innocent bystander, someone who was not involved in the dispute and was simply caught in the wrong place when the violence erupted.
