On a Tuesday evening in Philadelphia, the life of 27-year-old Rafeeq Flamer, a Black male from Collingdale, PA, was tragically cut short. On September 21, 2021, at approximately 5:16 p.m., police responded to the 3400 block of Grays Ferry Avenue. There, they discovered Flamer in the driver's seat of his white Kia Optima, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso.
Officers at the scene acted swiftly, transporting Flamer in their patrol vehicle to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
