In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Philadelphia, on November 22, 2020, the life of a 50-year-old Hispanic male named Manuel Garcia, who was also known as Darío Rodríguez, was tragically cut short. He was on the 2400 block of Ridge Avenue when the sound of a gunshot pierced the night. Responding officers found Garcia lying on the sidewalk, critically wounded. They rushed him to Temple University Hospital, but his injuries proved too severe, and he succumbed to them the following day.
