Jayden Lucas, an 18-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on September 16, 2020, in Philadelphia, PA. He was shot in the back while playing basketball at Roberto Clemente Playground on the 1800 block of Wallace Street. Despite immediate medical attention at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jayden was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim, 21-year-old Khallid Henderson, was also fatally shot at the same location.
