On the evening of Saturday, July 25, 2020, a 31-year-old Black male named Steven B. Wilson II was found lying in the street in the East Mount Airy neighborhood of Philadelphia. The discovery was made at approximately 7:23 p.m. on the 6700 block of Chew Avenue. Wilson had sustained a gunshot wound to his torso and was unresponsive when police officers arrived at the scene.
