In the summer of 2020, the life of 23-year-old Sydney Alyse Parmelee was cut tragically short. On July 5th, in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Sydney was found deceased on a couch with a gunshot wound to her head. A handgun was discovered near her body, initially suggesting the possibility of suicide. Sydney, a student at Harrisburg Area Community College who was studying to become a registered nurse, was a devoted mother to her two young children, a daughter and a son.
