Dai’Shawn Akeem Grace, a 27-year-old Black man, was making the last leg of a trip home late on September 23, 2019, after riding a Port Authority bus from downtown Pittsburgh to Munhall. Investigators said he got off near West Street and East 20th Street and started walking along Ridge Way, the kind of ordinary route that turns familiar after enough nights and enough shifts.
