In the quiet neighborhood of Penn Hills, just outside of Pittsburgh, the early morning hours of November 6, 2018, were shattered by the sound of gunfire. A Penn Hills police officer on patrol near Alcoma Drive heard the shots ring out around 1 a.m. and, along with other officers, responded to the scene.
