In the late hours of a Tuesday night in Chester, Pennsylvania, the life of 19-year-old TyAzha McCray was tragically cut short. On April 3, 2018, just before midnight, the young Black woman was getting into a friend's car when gunfire erupted. Multiple bullets struck TyAzha, fatally wounding her. Her friend, who was in the driver's seat, was also hit by the gunfire but managed to survive the violent encounter and was reported to be in fair condition.
