Joseph LaTorre, a 30-year-old male of Italian-American heritage, was shot and killed on the evening of July 4, 2017, in Chester, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred around 11:25 p.m. on the 1100 block of Brown Street, where police responded to reports of numerous gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered LaTorre in the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
