In the early morning hours of January 15, 2017, a dispute at a Shell gas station in Erie, Pennsylvania, escalated into a fatal encounter for Marcell Jakeem Flemings. The 26-year-old male was at the station located at East Sixth and Parade streets when a physical altercation broke out.
