On a cold January evening in Allentown, Pennsylvania, a dispute over a stolen cellphone tragically escalated, ending the life of 16-year-old Trequon D. Wade. The young Black male was shot in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue on January 25, 2016. Rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, he succumbed to his injuries later that night.
