A birthday celebration turned into a scene of unimaginable tragedy on September 6, 2011, in West Philadelphia. Porfirio Nunez, a 50-year-old male, was celebrating his milestone at his family-owned business, Lorena's Grocery, located at 50th and Parrish Streets. Present with him were his wife, Johana 'Carmen' Nunez, 44, his sister, Lina Sanchez, 48, and his two daughters.
