On what should have been a day of celebration, the life of Clifton Dennis was tragically cut short. A Black male, he was killed on his 26th birthday, August 28, 1993, in Chester, Pennsylvania. An act of gun violence ended the young man's life, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew him and a community to mourn his loss. The future that lay before him, full of potential and promise, was extinguished in a moment of senseless violence.
