Trooper David C. Yarrington, aged 24, of the Delaware State Police, tragically lost his life on January 6, 1972, in Concord Township, Pennsylvania. He and his partner, Trooper Ronald L. Carey, were investigating an armed robbery at the Concord Motel on U.S. Route 202 when they encountered the suspects.
