In the early hours of a cold Saturday in Dyersburg, Tennessee, a series of violent events began to unfold, culminating in the tragic death of Timothy Rucker. On January 22, 2022, shortly after midnight, police responded to reports of multiple gunshots on Brayton Street. There they found 30-year-old Timothy Rucker suffering from gunshot wounds. He was initially transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to a medical facility in Memphis for more advanced care.
