On October 25, 2021, 18-year-old Junior Alfredo Santiago was tragically shot and killed in Knoxville, Tennessee. Santiago, who was Hispanic, was found inside an overturned vehicle on Cansler Avenue near Wallace Street in the Mechanicsville neighborhood. He had been shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene.
