On a summer evening in St. Louis, Missouri, the life of James Nelson, a 36-year-old man, was tragically cut short. On August 7, 2017, Nelson was found shot in the 4000 block of Interstate 55, the victim of fatal gun violence. At the time of his death, reports indicated that Nelson was experiencing homelessness.
