Dhargham Tawfiq Ateia, a 27-year-old man, was fatally shot on June 12, 2018, at the InTown Suites motel in Antioch, Tennessee. He was found lying in the doorway of his room after being shot multiple times as he walked from the parking lot to the stairway. Dhargham was able to tell his brother that his attacker was a black male with dreads before being transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
