In the spring of 2017, the life of 33-year-old Charles Ross, a male resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was cut short in a burst of violence. On the evening of May 6th, Ross was in the 5000 block of Kensington Avenue in the city's Kingsway West neighborhood when a vehicle approached. Shots rang out from the car in a drive-by shooting, striking Ross multiple times in the chest.
