Desmond Travis, a 23-year-old male from Jackson, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on October 1, 2016. He was found dead at the scene of a shooting in the Allenton Heights area of Jackson. The Jackson Police Department responded to the incident on East King Street and identified Desmond as the victim. Investigators determined that there was a connection between Desmond Travis and another victim, Darius Austin, and worked to ascertain if the homicides were related.
