In the early hours of September 10, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet in St. Louis, Missouri, leaving a scene of violence and loss. Ronsonie Sharron Scott, a 39-year-old Black/African American male, was caught in the deadly triple shooting that erupted around 3:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Market Street. The attack was sudden and indiscriminate, as an unknown assailant, or assailants, opened fire on the vehicle in which Scott was a passenger.
