In the early morning hours of July 16, 2016, a gathering of people in St. Louis, Missouri, was shattered by gunfire. When the violence subsided, 41-year-old Robert Eugene Paden, a Black male, was found dead in the street at 3101 North Grand. The shooting occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m.
