On the night of July 23, 2012, Seaborn Mason, a 50-year-old resident of Long Beach, California, was shot and killed in front of a convenience store located in the 400 block of East South Street. The shooting took place shortly before midnight, prompting Long Beach police officers to respond to a call of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found Mason lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper torso. He was rushed to a hospital, but unfortunately, he succumbed ...
