Brooksie Worsham, an 81-year-old woman from Pasadena, Texas, was tragically shot to death in her home on August 25, 2021. She was killed while sleeping in her bed, and her husband, who was also in the bed at the time, woke up to find her unresponsive and shot. The couple had been asleep when the incident occurred, and the husband reported hearing gunshots earlier in the morning before calling 911. He was later found to have been shot in the leg and was expected to recover.
