On July 23, 2021, 17-year-old Kaleb Williams was tragically killed in a shooting at the Artisan at Rush Creek Apartments in Arlington, Texas. The incident occurred around 1:30 p.m. and also claimed the life of his 13-year-old brother, Josh Williams. A third teenager was injured in the shooting and taken to the hospital. The shooting was the result of an argument that began at a nearby barbershop and escalated into gunfire at the apartment complex.
