John Kentreal Hightower, a 19-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on July 4, 2021, in Dallas, Texas. He was one of two individuals shot shortly after 10:30 p.m. while attending a gathering at 3011 Park Row Avenue. The other victim, a 43-year-old woman, survived the shooting. The case was reassigned to the Homicide Unit, and the investigation is ongoing. The motive behind the shooting remains unknown.
