In the early morning hours of July 1, 2015, authorities in North St. Louis County, Missouri, were alerted to a shooting incident that would leave a local family devastated. Officers dispatched to the 9800 block of Green Valley Drive arrived to find the body of a man lying in the front yard of a residence. The victim, identified as Luther Lonell Finch II, had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
