On the evening of March 14, 2015, authorities in St. Louis, Missouri, were called to a scene of violence in the northern section of the city. Officers arrived at the 4600 block of Elmbank Avenue, located near the intersection with Marcus Avenue, after receiving reports of gunfire in the residential area. Upon arrival, they discovered the body of 30-year-old Jeremiah Ryan Ewing, a male victim who had sustained fatal injuries outside of a home.
