In the early hours of January 3, 2015, the life of 20-year-old Tyrell Tashaun Valentine was tragically cut short, marking the first homicide of the new year in St. Louis, Missouri. Valentine, a male, was fatally shot multiple times while sitting in a car near a downtown McDonald's located at 1119 N. Tucker. The brazen act of violence also left another individual, a 21-year-old male, wounded with a graze to the head; he was subsequently hospitalized in stable condition.
