Monice Landrio, a 41-year-old woman from Beaumont, Texas, tragically lost her life on April 19, 2020. She was shot and killed at the Florida Park Apartments while attempting to break up a fight involving a large crowd of juveniles. Witnesses reported that Landrio fired a round to try to disperse the fight, but a 15-year-old boy responded by shooting multiple rounds, hitting her multiple times.
