Laymon Lamar Johnson, a 25-year-old male from Amarillo, Texas, tragically died on March 10, 2020. He was fatally shot at the Americas Best Value Inn on I-40 East in Amarillo. When police arrived at the scene, they found Laymon and another man with gunshot wounds. Laymon was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other man was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries.
