On October 24, 2019, 19-year-old Juan Carlos Jimenez was tragically shot and killed in front of his mother's home in southeast Houston, Texas. He was at home with his girlfriend and two friends when a shooter, wearing a black hoodie, surprised them by the back door. The family believes that Juan Carlos may have known the shooter, as he attempted to escape by climbing through the bathroom window, but was ultimately shot.
