On July 28, 2019, Jamie Thigpen, a 72-year-old resident of Dallas, Texas, tragically lost their life in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. Jamie Thigpen, along with their 73-year-old partner Wayne Thigpen, was found shot to death at their home in the 9500 block of Alta Mira Drive, near White Rock Lake. The Dallas Police Department responded to the scene around 7:45 p.m. and declared the incident a murder-suicide after investigating the circumstances.
