In the afternoon hours of a cold February day in St. Louis, 39-year-old Alando Scott, a Black male, became the victim of a fatal shooting. On February 3, 2014, at approximately 3:00 p.m., he was discovered with gunshot wounds to his head in the vicinity of Alaska and Primm. The location of the shooting was believed to be in the 7800 block of Goya. When police arrived, they found Scott lying outside his vehicle with the driver's side door still open; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
