Shaniqua 'Nikki' Shavell Wallace, a 44-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on November 1, 2018, in Abilene, Texas. She was fatally shot at her apartment by her girlfriend, Lonisha Nicole McBride, who later confessed to the crime. McBride, aged 33, admitted to planning the murder for months and even purchased a handgun specifically for this purpose.
