Claudia Arriaga, a 33-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life on February 10, 2018, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. in the early hours of that Saturday morning. Arriaga was fatally shot by her common-law husband, Daniel Martinez, in front of their three children, who were aged between four and 17 years old. The children reportedly pleaded with their father to call 911 when they saw blood streaming down Arriaga's face.
