Lonnie Franklin

Lonnie Franklin Jr., a 47-year-old African American man, was fatally shot on December 29, 2017, outside his home on the 4700 block of Belinda Lee Drive in San Antonio, Texas. Franklin, a beloved cook at Fort Sam Houston, was known for his dedication to his work and his family. He was shot in the upper torso area as he was stepping inside his home after starting his car.
