John Bryan Holcombe, a 60-year-old male of Caucasian ethnicity, tragically lost his life on November 5, 2017, during a mass shooting at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Holcombe was serving as a guest pastor and was delivering the sermon when the gunman, Devin Patrick Kelley, opened fire on the congregation.
