Alfred Andre'lous Lockett, a 48-year-old African American man from Austin, Texas, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2017. Lockett, affectionately known as "Andre" or "Dre" to his family and friends, was employed by the Information Technology Services Department at the University of Texas. He was born on November 27, 1968, in Abilene, Texas, and was a graduate of Cooper High School and Prairie View A&M University.
