Detective Jerry Ronald Walker, aged 48, was a dedicated officer with the Little Elm Police Department in Texas. On January 17, 2017, Detective Walker responded to a call about an armed man in a residential neighborhood on the 1400 block of Turtle Cove Drive. Upon arrival, officers encountered the suspect, later identified as 46-year-old Rudy Garcia, who was armed and standing in a backyard.
