Neeta Kharabanda, a 58-year-old Indian American woman from Southlake, Texas, tragically died on April 12, 2016. She was found dead in her home alongside her husband, Anil Kharabanda, 62, in what was determined to be a murder-suicide. According to police reports, Anil shot Neeta before taking his own life. The couple had been married since 1980 but had gone through divorce proceedings twice, in 2003 and 2011, although Neeta later withdrew her petitions.
