On December 6, 2015, the community of Huntsville, Texas, was shaken by the tragic loss of Timeshia Roshandra Franklin, a 34-year-old Black woman whose life was cut short by gun violence. Known affectionately as "Nuk" to those close to her, Timeshia's untimely death left a void in the hearts of her family and friends.
In January 2006, Timeshia faced legal challenges when she was arrested by the Huntsville Police Department on charges of possessing marijuana and a controlled substance.
She was booked into the Walker County Jail and released on bond after eight days.
